ENDYMED FSR uses radiofrequency energy (3DEEP Skin Science) to deliver controlled heat to the dermis while simultaneously treating the upper layers of the skin.
The deep dermal heating stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. At the surface, the energy creates micro-zones of ablation, which triggers a controlled wound-healing response and promotes the formation of new tissue. This fractional approach helps to improve overall skin texture and tone.
The optimum clinical effect is typically seen three months after the treatment course, once new collagen has been produced. A course of three treatments is usually recommended. Following this, follow-up treatments may be scheduled to maintain the therapeutic effects.
A topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure to manage discomfort. Post-treatment, patients can expect mild erythema (redness) and some micro-crusting, which typically resolves within a few days.
