Fractional Resurfacing for Face, Neck, and Décolleté

This treatment is indicated for managing textural irregularities and the clinical signs of photodamage on the face, neck, and décolleté.
A specific protocol, ENDYBLEPH, is also available for treating the periorbital (eye) area.

How does it work?

ENDYMED FSR uses radiofrequency energy (3DEEP Skin Science) to deliver controlled heat to the dermis while simultaneously treating the upper layers of the skin.

The deep dermal heating stimulates fibroblasts to produce new collagen. At the surface, the energy creates micro-zones of ablation, which triggers a controlled wound-healing response and promotes the formation of new tissue. This fractional approach helps to improve overall skin texture and tone.

The optimum clinical effect is typically seen three months after the treatment course, once new collagen has been produced. A course of three treatments is usually recommended. Following this, follow-up treatments may be scheduled to maintain the therapeutic effects.

A topical anaesthetic is applied before the procedure to manage discomfort. Post-treatment, patients can expect mild erythema (redness) and some micro-crusting, which typically resolves within a few days.

The technology utilises a specialised handpiece containing a matrix of micro-electrodes, allowing energy to be delivered evenly and precisely across the treatment area. This controlled delivery supports consistent results while maintaining safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

What is Endymed FSR?

Endymed FSR (Fractional Skin Resurfacing) is a medical therapy that utilises 3DEEP Skin Science radiofrequency technology. It is indicated for managing the clinical signs of photodamage and addressing textural irregularities of the skin.

The procedure delivers controlled thermal energy deep into the dermis to stimulate neocollagenesis (new collagen production), while simultaneously applying fractional energy to the skin’s surface. This dual action encourages the formation of new tissue and improves the structural integrity of the skin.

What Endymed FSR Can Treat?

Endymed FSR is designed to address a wide range of skin concerns affecting both texture and tone. It is suitable for use on the face, neck and décolleté.

This treatment may help to improve:

  • Skin irregularities and uneven texture
  • Pigmented skin and areas of discolouration
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scarring and other types of superficial scarring
  • Dull or tired-looking skin
  • Stretch marks

By targeting both the surface and deeper layers of the skin, Endymed FSR supports overall skin renewal and improved clarity.

Who Is Suitable for Endymed FSR?

Endymed FSR is suitable for individuals experiencing visible changes in their skin due to the natural ageing process, as well as those with early or premature skin concerns.

You may be a suitable candidate if you are concerned about:

  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone or pigmentation
  • Loss of skin firmness
  • Rough or uneven skin texture
  • Acne scarring or other superficial scars

It may also be beneficial for those whose skin has been affected by sun exposure, environmental factors or lifestyle influences.

A consultation is required to assess your skin and determine whether this treatment is appropriate for your individual needs.

The Endymed FSR Treatment Process

Initial Consultation

Your path to revitalised skin begins with a thorough consultation at Rejuvenating Solutions Skin Clinic. Our experienced practitioners will assess your skin concerns and develop a personalised treatment plan around them. This initial consultation ensures that Endymed FSR is tailored to your unique needs, providing the most effective results.

During the Treatment

During the Endymed FSR treatment, your skin is numbed with an anaesthetic for added comfort. The procedure involves the application of radiofrequency energy, which heats the deeper layers of your skin to stimulate collagen production while simultaneously treating the surface with intense heat spots. Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.

Post-Treatment Care and Follow-up

After the treatment, you may experience some redness and micro-crusting, which typically subsides within 1-2 days. Our team will provide comprehensive post-treatment care instructions to ensure a smooth recovery. Follow-up sessions may be recommended to maintain and enhance the results.

What Results Can You Expect?

Following a course of treatment, patients may observe an improvement in skin texture and tone. The primary therapeutic effects are typically observed three months after the final session, once the process of neocollagenesis (new collagen production) is complete. This helps to address skin laxity and textural irregularities. Please note that individual clinical outcomes can vary.

An improvement in skin texture and tone may be observed after treatment. The optimum clinical effects, which include improved firmness and changes to surface irregularities, generally become apparent after three months. This period allows for the completion of the collagen remodelling cycle. Individual patient responses will differ.

In addition to improvements in skin texture and tone, patients may also notice a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, superficial scarring and areas of uneven pigmentation. The treatment can contribute to firmer-looking skin and a more even complexion.

For some patients, improvements in stretch marks and overall skin clarity may also be observed following a full course of treatment.

As with all aesthetic procedures, results will vary depending on individual skin condition and treatment plan.
